Two things I’ve been meaning to share from Political Animal:
- A historical analysis of poll shows acceptance grows about about a point a year, with some violent perterbations around all the hubub of 2004. (via)

Wayback Machine #
Most nerd-types probably know about the archive.org’s Wayback Machine by now. But on one recent night I stumbled upon the thing again and wasted a fair amount of time seeing what my favorite sites used to look like.
It can be slow, and also unrepresentative, but it’s still fun to spend some time on. If you have any interest in what the internet used to look like, I’m sure you’ll be able to spend at least 20 minutes staring at this wonderful little tool. Why not start with how Yahoo! looked in 1996?
